Hello all (or rather hello you, but everyone starts with one follower, right? Love you sweetheart) Welcome to The Culinary Cottager! I am a fishing lodge owner in Northern Ontario, Canada, and if you so choose on your vacation, I am your source for all things yummy :) Two things about me: 1)I get great satisfaction from spoiling my guests; and 2)I am obsessed with food, it absolutely rules my world. I collect cookbooks, menus, watch the food network 24/7, and surf the culinary superhighway nonstop.
I hope to share ideas with you, and learn from you as well. Please feel free to add comments and ideas you may have, you can never know too much about food :) For example, I never knew how to cook grouse until the first year we moved here, and one flew right into our window and dropped dead. Culture shock? Yes. Delicious? You bet your ass. Now I can't wait for them to fly into the window! In the forest, you just never know who might drop in for dinner.
