
Happy New Year! Check out the grub I ate for New Years Eve....I just love food so much:)
-Oven Roasted Beet Salad, Forelle Poached Pear, Blue cheese cream, walnut, raspberry eclats, and vinaigrette
-Tuna tartar with blood orange, ancho chili and coconut
-Pan seared scallops with mushroom risotto, asparagus tips, lemon beurre blanc and Sauvignon Blanc FOAM (that was good!)
-Popcorn Crab Bisque (was really cool they put popcorn,mint and mango in the bottom of the bowl then poured the bisque on top and you got this WICKED scent float right up to your nose,but I digress;)
-Duck Ravioli with Port Wine and figs
-Smoked Pork Belly with boniato puree, quince and brandy
-Olive Oil poached beef tenderloin with truffle yukon puree, root vegetable and bearnaise(OMG-won't even start in on this one, how about just mmmmmmmm....)
-Seared Fois Gras with Port Wine glazed concord grapes, brioche pain Perdu and vanilla oil
-Chocolate Chiboust Mousse
-Choco Pot de creme-
-profiterole and vanilla ice cream
-Crispy Almond Tuile with citrus madelines AND....because I am so fond of fancy food.....
A large carne meat lovers pizza 2 hours later.
and some pretty big cookies wrapped in a big pink bow
and maybe some eggs benny the next morning but that's it! Well that's a lie, but now I'm hungry so I gotta run. Check back for my new menu at the lodge! There will be no brioche pain Perdu on it, but really, it was just a cracker, a really fancy cracker....:)Moe
